Vote does not work

I saw a few threads about this issue and the answer was to turn off Joomla's error reporting. I did that and the votes now tally.

However, turning off something like error reporting seems like, well, maybe not the best way to correct the vote issue.

Is there a better way to fix this?

Fix your PHP errors.

I didn't see any PHP errors to fix. In fact, the error log is empty, which seems strange to me and I'm checking with my host about that.

Just having error reporting on seemed to interfere with the poll. As far as I can tell, Sexy Polling is the only extension that has heartburn with it.

If you update to the latest version we force error reporting to be off for vote.php file in sexypolling extension.
