some suggestions

I am evaluating your product and I think the following features would be beneficial.
when adding polls and/or answers additional save options such as Save and New and Save and Copy.
Then one wouldn't have to start another new item. Would save a lot of time when creating polls and answers.

also the global ability to show/not show timeline and scaling and their icons, and start and end vote dates.

Testing your extension out now. I really like the ease of use and layout so far.

A few suggestions...

1. Would it be possible to add a module class suffix to your Sexy Polls module?

2. Is there a way to disable the loading_polling.gif? It is always active and also seems aligned left instead of center.

3. My only complaint is the pricing. 55 USD for 6 months of updates seems extremely expensive to me. I would like to see this closer to the 30$ mark.

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestions.

1. Probably I will add module suffix on next release.

2. Is there a way to disable the loading_polling.gif? It is always active and also seems aligned left instead of center.

There is no option to disable it. If it has left alignment, it is some issue. if you give me url, I will check what is the problem.

3. I sent you a PM according to this question :)

Best Regards,
Simon

I actually just deleted the .gif file. I found it a little distracting but it does seem like it is left aligned instead of center.
Would really like the class suffix though, so I can get rid of the ugly wrapper that it puts around the border and integration for articles would be very nice as well.

Anyway, thanks for the PM and the quick reply! I wish all support was as fast as you...
Maybe you would consider working for my webhosting provider! They are slow as a snail. :)

http://www.firingsquad.us/Gamers/index.php/feedback

It appears that the issue is related to when the poll is placed in the Home menu as a module.
If I make it a separate menu there is no problem and the loading gif only appears when viewing the poll results.

Ok, please place it in module position, so I can check what is going wrong.

Simon, I posted it on my Video Gallery page.

I noticed if the poll is set to auto-animate on voted, it aligns correctly.
If not, then it looks like the pic.

Here's the link.

http://www.firingsquad.us/Gamers/index.php/videos

I did notice your max width is only set to 90%

.polling_loading {
border-radius: 5px 5px 5px 5px !important;
clear: both !important;
display: none;
margin: 0 auto 10px !important;
max-width: 250px !important;
width: 90% !important; <--------------------- Set to 100% fills the gap.

If you remove the line 39 from template.css, that will work.

Code: Select all
.module_round_box_outer img {
display: inline-block; //remove this rule.
}

Simon, do you have an time frame as to when the new version with Article integration will be available?
I am also wondering if you will include the module class suffix field as well?

Thanks
