Time between Votes - Network

New postby only1russ » Mon Sep 23, 2013 9:32 pm

I have a company behind a firewall.
I would like "timed" voting, but it looks like all the CPU's are returning the same IP, thus can not vote until the time limit expires. It's a race to see who can vote. I am willing to have a zero time limit - but that disables the feature. Am I correct that it is the ip address, not the username causing this to happen - or what can I do?

Thanks!

Hi,

It stores votes by IP addresses. Unfortunately there is no user storage in votes table, so if you need to allow multiple voting from same IP, you need to set voting period to low value, but in that case same user can vote multiple times.
If you need, the user storage part can be implemented for you. If you are interested, send me a PM.

Best Regards,
