after installing jumi

When I select jumi from the component dropdown i get the following errors:

Remove the & after the equals sign

$document = JFactory::getDocument();

References are automatically created now, as of 5.3 I think. Remove the & and the errors like Strict standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in...etc will stop appearing.

I am working on the other one now, will post a solution if I figure something out.
