Add an answer...

New postby jmack50 » Tue Dec 08, 2015 6:42 pm

I am using Sexy Polling PRO+ 2.1.1 (at least that's what it should be) but when I try to add an answer to a poll that already has five answers, I get a message, "THIS POLL CAN NOT HAVE MORE THAN 5 ANSWERS". What am I missing here?

In admin under Manage Extensions, this is what I see:

Fancy Polling - Site - Module - 2.1.1 June 2012
Fancy Polling - Site - Plugin - 2.1.1 June 2012
Fancy Polling Pro - Administrator - Component - 2.1.1 - June 2012

Hi,

Have you installed the Pro version on top of the free? Make sure to reinstall it.

If that doesn't work try to disable Fancy polling plugin and try again.

Let me know.

Thanks!

Those suggestions didn't work. I uninstalled everything and cleared cache, etc., reinstalled PRO+ 2.1.1 and I continue to get the same message.

While I have your attention... When someone adds an answer can others vote on that answer?

First, I had a problem that you solved where I couldn't add an answer.

Ok, Now I'm really going to be disappointed if I can't create a poll where I don't want people to add an answer. Shouldn't that be an option on the "Who can add an answer" dropdown??

Public visitors will never have access to the polls. This is a membership organization and members are required to login before voting. Are you saying there is no way to prevent registered user from adding answers?

If you set permission to Special only Administrators will be able to add answers, so you can prevent registered users from adding answers.

Thanks!
