Calling plugins from jumi?

New postby dddienst » Wed Oct 28, 2015 10:05 pm

I have an article that only contains {jumi [*4]} and inside this jumi code is all the HTML and PHP to render the page content. However, part of the page I want to dynamicly create a URL that is used my componentsAnywhere to insert a block of code from a 3rd party component. But it wont render the plugin call from inside the Jumi php code.

If I put the html in the article then I would need a Jumi call for every time I need to use a veriable in my page content. Which would get messy and I would prefer not to do. Am I doing something wrong or is it you cant call pugins from inside a plugin?

{componet url/of/component/id=<?php echo $variable ?>}

Hi,

Inside Jumi you should be able to get the contents by making a http call, it may look like this:

<?php $content = file_get_contents('http://domain.com/index.php?option=com_TEST&id=VAR&tmpl=component'); ?>

where tmpl=component is a special option to render HTML of the content only. You can find more info about it on: https://docs.joomla.org/Adding_print_po ... _component

Thanks!
