Here is a link to a patch they are working on for Joomla 1.6 to resolve the code being stripped from articles and modules:
http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla ... m_id=24545

By integrating this patch, I was able to get another PHP code plugin to work in both articles and modules. However, it didn't resolve the issue with the Jumi module.

Hi,
I think I found a solution to this pb.
In /modules/mod_jumi/mod_jumi.xml
Add
Code: Select all
filter="raw"
to the line (+-36) :
Code: Select all
<field name="code_written" type="textarea" filter="raw" default="" label="Code written" description="PARAMCODEWRITTEN" cols="60" rows="17" />

Should work now.

Hope it helps.

Where do you add the 'filter="raw"'?

I just installed a fresh installation of Joomla 1.6.1 and Jumi for J1.6. And, I have confirmed that this bug appears for me, too.

I had the same bug as rose....as well as:

1. Make sure you enable the jumi module AND plugin.
2. When doing your first simple test with the component, the syntax is:

{jumi [*1]}

Thanks Rose Lavy! That fix worked a treat!

I must comment, though, that Rose's solution was posted in February and it still doesn't seem to have been incorporated into the product in mid-May. I only downloaded it today, and still have to manually tweak it.

Still, great product! And the price is right! ;-)

The main two steps that bring about problems are: creation of new Jumi Modul
and the he problem is when you save the module joomla erases the code leaving the text in the widow.

@edo, @peoplz @Mr Marhaj (hope you're doing well)
I am Rose (roselavy @ ...)
I corrected my pseudo (ghazal is the one I use on joomla.org forum)

I modified jumi package according to various posts where some bugs were reported.

You'll find here this version :
jumi_pack_2.0.6_for_J2.5
https://www.box.com/s/o2vcyd2c3851s6e1d9fr
Corrections
- replaced # by ; in .ini files

- added filter: raw in module .xml file

- replaced global $option;

by
Code: Select all
$option = JRequest::getCMD('option');

in admin.jumi.php
- replaced
Code: Select all
<extension group="system" method="upgrade" type="plugin" version="1.6">

by
Code: Select all
<extension group="system" method="upgrade" type="plugin" version="2.5"></extension></extension>

Posted it on joomla.org forum as well :
http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=620&t=696736

And please report here any pb you might encounter, we"ll try to solve it together.

PS : I myself noticed a non-fatal error while uploading and installing it on 1&1 webhost, but it doesn't prevent the 3 extensions from working.
