Google Analytics Cross Domain Tracking

New postby leanne » Wed Mar 25, 2015 6:14 pm

HI - I am trying to get Cross Domain Tracking to work in a website where the content is sat in an iframe

This is a hotel website who use a third party booking company to manage room bookings and their booking form sits in an iframe

I have inserted, what appears to be good code, but the tracking does not work within the iframe

ANY ideas please?

<script>
(function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i['GoogleAnalyticsObject']=r;i[r]=i[r]||function(){
(i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o),
m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m)
})(window,document,'script','//www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js','ga');

ga('create', 'UA-17071782-1', 'auto', {'allowLinker': true});

// Load the plugin.
ga('send', 'pageview');
ga('require', 'linker');

// Define which domains to autoLink.
ga('linker:autoLink', ['.luccombehall.co.uk','.roomlynx.net'],false,true);
</script>
